Sonja started as a junior secretary in the technical branch, first in the car sales followed by a swift career at ODME which fed her curiosity in technical innovation and made it possible to proceed on her education as Office Manager. After five great years at this company it was time for a change and Sonja moved on to the computer branch, again as a Office Manager but this time in a solo function for a foundation of Exact resellers. After her marriage she made a short side step into the Health Care sector where she realized that all people are just people and a secretary can work in any branch if she wants to. Since she missed her hometown and her husband was able to work from Eindhoven as well they moved back there. After a year of working for agencies she found her place at SHT where she works as office manager. Next to her tasks there she also assisted Gijs Mom for two years, at that time the head editor of the Journal of Transport History. She was also involved in the International Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility (T2M).Mrs. S.J.P.
